Here are some hats. Three adult and the rest are child and preemie hats. I make and donate preemie hats to a hospital. The children's hats are miscalculations. :)

My Blook- Humanzee

Well, I started writing another to do list, getting ready to continue writing Humanzee then I decided, no, instead of writing a to do list, let me enact it.

I don't know what I'm doing. I've never written a book before. I don't have a perfect concept, and I don't know whether it'll ever get published.

So I'm encouraged. I have 4 important things in common with JR Rowling, Dean Koontz, Tolkein
and everyone else who ever Sat down to write their first book.

I wrote a few chapters a while back but got bogged down. I got lost and discouraged. I didn't know where I was going. New idea. I'm writing a short story. I'll but down the whole story, then I'll be able to move things around, and I'll have a complete idea down on paper. Not precisely A short Story. A short Story is a different art form with different exigencies. More like a summary. I'll post some of my real short stories here later.

The basic idea is that I'm just gonna sit down and write this thing.

I'll make a new blog so I can organize the blook chapter by chapter.

If writing this as a blob is too much of a hassle, I'll need to write it in word or whatever and then part it as a blook later.

Black Tie Cat Collar

I used a small piece of silk Duppioni, two little pieces of white ribbon, one button and a piece of elastic
Cut the felt
Sew on the ribbon. This is for strength. These parts of the felt will be under stress and will stretch if they aren't stabilized. Hmm. You could use stabilizer instead of ribbon.

Cut out the silk.

Sew around the edges.

Slit the silk as shown and iron.

Sew and iron and make it look like this.

And then like this.

Fold over the top and iron. Then sew it to create a channel.

Pull the elastic through the channel.

Sew the ends of the elastic together.

Pull on the elastic to hide the seam inside the channel.

Whoops. Too much elastic. Tie off the elastic to make it shorter.

Hide the knot inside the channel.

Admire cat.

Quick holiday cat collar

Here's my process for making this felt holiday collar.

Cut out some felt. Um, collar size.

get ready to sew

Sew ribbon around edge. It's decorative and adds strength.

iron iron iron

and iron some more

now stitch. Folding the material down as shown makes the collar a little more 3-dimensional

iron.Notice that the flaps of the collar stick out a little.

Cover the seam with ribbon.

Iron.

Here I've used that iron-on glue stuff to stick a piece of Velcro to the back. The back of the silver beacon tag in the picture has a corresponding piece of Velcro.

Now thread the elastic "collar" part of the collar through the channel we've created.

tie it off.

Check the fit.

Hide the knot.

Bask in your cat's gratitude.

Black Collar Dress Collar for the "Cat About Town"

Here Twitch models a prototype of a white silk Dupioni evening collar from our upcoming Winter Collection. This fashion collection draws from many sources of inspiration, including having too much time on my hands and a recent visit to Daiso where much felt was purchased.

Please excuse the fuzziness of the photography. In a clichéd attempt at authenticity, my model decided to get stoned OUT OF HlS MlND before our photo shoot. The 70's are over, Twitch.

The collar is stitched in a way that makes the "wings" stick out a little from the cat's body. This makes it look more like a real shirt collar.

The back is felt. This gives it body.

This picture shows how the length of the collar is adjustable. This is a prototype, hence the visible stitching. The center piece of Velcro is for my cats´ radio beacon. Cat owners with less advanced obsessive compulsive disorder can attach an ordinary ID tag to the button on the front.

Gaudy but functional

Triple thickness felt and needle felting. Button and elastic loop closure. Safe, secure and a little tacky. A prototype. (Using up this orange material.)

A cute, personalized camera case

Needlefelting, machine stitching for strength, ribbons and buttons and her name spelled in beads. Cute stuff. The small milky beads at the left are photosensitive and change color in daylight.

Epiphany. The healing rays of an electronical UV Stinkfinder also cause the subtle transformation

Can you spot the problem below? Correct. I have a reddish, mouth-like opening and have failed to create felt teeth and tongue. Not to mention felt tonsils.

La Toilette Feline

The water dish for the true feline connoisseur The idea is to put a stick an upside-down bottle of water into the "tank." Then the "bowl" is self-filling.

And now down to business:

The Cat Genie. Self cleaning - you hook it up to your toilet. My cats loved it right away. I was still setting it up and they were trying to use it.

The Cat Genie is awesome. The cat pollutes, the Genie scoops, fills itself with water, agitates, rinses and blow dries itself. It rarely has problems, but when it does, they are big ones. Think "poop soup." Yeah, you old Litterfree veterans know what I'm talking about. There's nothing like cleaning out a Poop Slurpee at 3 am while your cat blithely fertilizes your bedspread because his toilet is out of commission.

Thus, we have a luxurious alternative. Who wouldn't love to eliminate his or her bodily wastes upon the glimmering crystal gems of two Scoop Free self-cleaning litter trays?

The one on the right is covered, for those shy, contemplative calls of nature. The one on the left is al fresco for the happy-go-lucky powderings of the nose.
